I was fresh out of college and began a part-time worship job at a church in Everett, WA. I had no idea that I loved teaching till I started working with Middle School and High Schoolers. There’s really nothing like being apart of someone else’s journey, watching their confidence grow in who they are and how they express themselves musically. I was hooked! In 2018, I started vocal coaching independently and taking on students from all walks of life.
My passion for teaching definitely started young even though I didn’t realize it. I was raised in a musical family and said yes to as many talent shows as I could. As soon as I was able to stand on my own I was on stage. My parents were both singers and instrumentalists and inspired in me a passion for singing and writing songs. I started on piano, then fell in love with the guitar. It is the instrument that I’ve never put down. Through Middle and High School I was a fan of John Mayer and Taylor Swift but also sang Classical and was apart of the Jazz Choir. From there I went to Northwest University for a degree in Music. Over the course of my life I have had a few notable teachers that poured into me and their encouragement and belief in me has made me who I am. I’m thrilled that I now get to be that person, pouring into others what I have learned and inspiring others to grow in their gift!
